Full Plans Application

Fees are payable by the person by whom or on whose behalf building work is being carried out and are charged in two stages- 'Plan fee' which must be accompany the application submitted for approval to the Council and 'Inspection fee' which is payable following the first inspection of the work in progress.

Where fees are calculated in accordance with the estimated cost of the work the building regulations application must be accompanied by the written estimate. Please note that an 'estimate' means a written estimate accepted by a district council of such reasonable amount as would be charged for the carrying out of the work by a person in business to carry our such work.
