Swimming Lessons
It is necessary to enrol your child/yourself onto the Swimming Programme in order to receive Group Lessons. Application forms can be collected from Reception.
All existing and new clients involved in the group lessons will receive 3 x 10 week sessions. If they would like any further lessons they can then re-apply at the end of the third 10 week session.
Clients are asked to please inform the Centre of any changes to their details given on their application forms for both 1-2-1 and group lessons i.e. address, phone number, child's swimming ability.
PARENT & TODDLER SWIMMING LESSONS
Swimming with your baby can be a very enjoyable and relaxing experience and you do not need to be a swimmer to take pleasure from seeing your child splash happily in the water.
Do you have a restless child? Swimming could be the answer! Being in the water can tire a baby out and improve not only the sleeping pattern but the eating pattern also. These classes not only benefit baby but because of the gentle exercise it is especially suited to new mothers.
Regular swimming will help maintain and improve the:
· Cardio-vascular system
· lung capacity and function
· joint mobility
· muscles and their functions
· stamina
· and can also help new mothers to control body weight and recover their pre pregnancy body weight.
