With our two Leisure Centres, in Magherafelt and Maghera, Golf Driving Range at Tobermore and outdoor facilities at Meadowbank Recreation Centre we can offer you a wide variety of sporting and leisure services.

Each of our Leisure Centres has a wide range of facilities including Fitness Suites, Health Suites- Sauna-Steam Room Jacuzzi and Squash Courts. Our Magherafelt Centre also comprises of a Swimming Pool- Leisure Pool, and two water slides.

The Sports Halls provide the venues for many sporting and social events including, indoor soccer, badminton, basketball, volleyball , circuit training, ladies keep fit, gymnastics, birthday parties etc. We also have the capacity to hold pop concerts and other special events.

Maghera Leisure Centre provides a superb facilities and a wide range of activities to suit all ages with experienced and friendly staff on hand to offer guidance and advice.

Meadowbank Sports Arena

Currently the largest of its kind in Europe, the new state of the art Meadowbank Sport Arena is designed to bring sports facilities into the 21^st Century. Almost complete, this top regional venue is situated in the heart of Mid-Ulster providing the widest range of unbeatable premium indoor and outdoor facilities for sports, other activities and events.

The Arena's "piece de resistance" indoor synthetic surface measures 137m X 70m on which a whole host of sporting activities can take place simultaneously, for example it can cater for a full size hockey/soccer pitch, plus 4 mini-pitches (all 4 badminton court sized). Alternatively it can also accommodate an indoor 300m track (flat). All of which are complemented with spectator amenities to seat 450 on a first floor gallery, additional changing facilities and ample storage. The centre is also fully accessible to wheelchair users and special needs groups.

Outdoors, the new Arena offers a 400m, 6 lane synthetic athletics track, facilities for associated field events such as hammer, javelin, discus, shot putt, long jump, triple jump, high jump, and pole vault; sand based soccer and gaelic/rugby pitches; outdoor Astroturf / 2 tennis courts, children's play area and pavilion, along with additional car parking. All outdoor facilities are floodlit and offer a secure setting with excellent provision for spectators and visitors.

In addition to providing this impressive array of sporting activities, this multi-functional arena has the flexibility to host exhibitions, regional sports competitions, national tournaments and other events.

Open to the public in late January 2008 the Meadowbank Sports Arena will certainly set a new benchmark for sports facilities, taking leisure provision to a new level in Northern Ireland.
