Technical Services provides the statutory refuse collection to all domestic premises in the Council area which is collected from your kerbsite, as well as providing extra service including assisted collections.

A regular street-cleansing programme takes place throughout the district with 750 tonnes of litter removed from our streets and roads annually.

The technical services department of Magherafelt District Council is responsible for various maintenance duties from grounds maintenance to waste disposal.

Our skip hire department offers a service to both the private and commercial sector.

The Council provides a waste disposal site at Ballymacombs Road, Bellaghy. Only non-hazardous waste from within the Council area can be accepted at our site.
