The Loughshore Trail, also known as Route 94 is a bi-directional cycling route encircling the shores of Lough Neagh. The trail will enable you to sample first hand the diverse culture and heritage of the Lough Neagh Region as well as allowing you to visit the natural and man made environment using the many miles of quiet lanes that run alongside or close to the shoreline
The Sperrins Cycle Routes
Explore, discover and enjoy the following three routes which are part 12 Sperrins Cycle Routes.
The Swatragh Cycle Route
This 15 mile (24km) cycle route of linen, dames and gentle streams has impressive views of the Glenshane Pass snaking away in the distance
as you make your way from Maghera and Swatragh. You will also pass an ancient woodland and dolmen along the way. The route can be joined with the Moyola Cycle route to create a longer ride.
The Moyola Cycle Route
This 11 mile (17km) cycle route is a gentle cycle along the flat leafy lanes between Tobermore and Maghera crisscrossing the Moyola River. Again it can be joined with the Swatragh Cycle Route to create a longer ride.
The Slieve Gallion Cycle Route
This 25 mile (40km) route is a challenging and very scenic, circumnavigating Slieve Gallion with spectacular views. The route encompasses the plantation towns of Moneymore and Draperstown.
All cycle routes are fully signposted with many natural and historical attractions along the way.
