There are a number of organisations in Northern Ireland that may be able to help you trace your ancestors:
Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI)
PRONI provides an invaluable source of information. It's staff are able to offer sound knowledge and advice regarding specific geneological enquiries. PRONI do not themselves undertake any genealogical research, they can however supply a list of professional genealogists upon request.
To achieve the most rewarding results it will require you to gather as much information as possible and whenever you have gathered sufficient information and wish to view the records, the office should be contacted in advance to ascertain whether relevant records are available for consultation.
