The District of Magherafelt is also an ideal base for touring Northern Ireland. Centrally located in the heart of Northern Ireland, Magherafelt is on the A6, the main transport corridor from Belfast to Londonderry, and on the A29 from Coleraine to Newry, providing easy access to major cities, airports, harbours and tourist attractions across Northern Ireland.
