Established by the Termoneeny Community Group, the Chapel walk is one of the many paths that originate in every townland in the Parish, and were once in widespread daily use. This is the only intact remains of the once extensive Chapel path network.
Approximately 2km in length, the walk commences at the graveyard, an important historical source within the parish as it marks the site of the original Church buildings. The foundations and holy water fonts are still visible today.
The path continues alongside a stream locally known as 'The Flushings' which rises near Ballynure, Drumard and delivers itself into the Grillagh River.
At the lower end of this path nestles 'Bally Well' or 'the well of bed or graves', which then joins the Hall Lane.
Along the remainder of the route you will notice the 'rath' enclosure on the left, the meadows to the right, and both Rough Hill and Annaghcramp which lie to the fore.
During the 1950's a Marian Cross was erected, which is now concealed by trees.
