Major Art Exhibition in Walsh's Hotel Maghera 27th - 29th June.
Kilrea artist Adrian Margey is back by popular demand in Walsh's Hotel Maghera with what promises to be another innovative and inspiring exhibition of his contemporary and traditional artwork depicting Ireland's landscape and people.
Hailed by the Belfast Telegraph's Una Bradley as 'one of the rising stars of a new generation of Ulster artists' - demand for Adrian's work is ever-growing. Forty distinctive originals depicting rural life and local landmarks will be released at the June exhibition including unique portrayals of the Ardboe Cross and the Beaghmore Stone Circles. Come explore vibrant interpretations of Benone Beach, Mussenden Temple, Dunluce Castle, Portstewart Strand, Ballintoy and scenes from Connemara and Inishowen. Striking portrayals of Irish traditional musicians and energetic interpretations of footballers make this one of Adrian's most wide-ranging exhibitions to date. His characteristic mix of contemporary and more traditional styles ensures there will be something for everyone.
The exhibition opens on Friday evening from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm and continues Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th June 11.00 am - 8.30 pm.
